Using the site

Job seekers use the site for free. There is no account. We list jobs and send the email alerts and newsletter you ask for. We do not employ you, and we do not submit applications for you. A listing links to the employer’s own application system.

A listing can be incomplete or out of date. It is not an offer of employment. The employer decides who to hire.

Newsletter subscriptions

Open Orbit is our free space-industry newsletter. Submit your own email address and confirm it using the email we send to activate your subscription. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in an email. Subscribing does not guarantee employment or access to a particular job. Advertising measurement is separate from your email subscription; your choices and our use of measurement providers are described in the privacy policy.

Two kinds of listings

Some listings are ordinary jobs collected from public employer career pages. Others are paid placements bought by an employer. A paid placement is an ad. We label it as sponsored on the website, in job-alert emails, and in the newsletter.

Buying a posting

An employer can buy a one-time posting or a subscription by card. The person buying must be 18 or older. The posting can go live without a review first.

You are responsible for the posting. It must be a real job, it must be lawful, and it must not impersonate another employer or ask candidates for money. We can remove a posting that breaks these rules.

A one-time fee is charged at purchase. A subscription renews each billing period until you cancel. Cancel by emailing us before the renewal date. Except where the law requires a refund, fees are not refunded after a posting has been displayed, including when we remove it for breaking these rules.

The card processor is the one shown at checkout. We do not store your full card number.

You see aggregate counts for your posting, such as views or clicks. You do not receive subscriber email addresses or a list of who opened an email.

Age

Anyone may browse jobs and, if they choose, subscribe to email. The person who buys a posting must be 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site, attempt to break it, scrape it in a way that degrades the service, or send us someone else’s email address without their permission.

Liability

The site is provided as is. We do not guarantee that a listing is accurate, that an email will arrive, or that a posting will produce applicants. To the extent the law allows, Formico LLC is not liable for lost profits or indirect damages arising from the site or a posting.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Formico LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
