As a Manufacturing Technician (m/f/d) – Mechanics and Optics, you will support our production team in manufacturing our laser communication products.
What awaits you at Mynaric
- Operate a variety of basic CNC machines, including milling, turning, and grinding
- Set up machines and run production processes efficiently and accurately
- Perform machine setups under the guidance of engineering staff or supervisors
- Interpret technical drawings and apply basic GD&T principles
- Accurately record inspection results and production hours
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in line with 5S principles
- Adhere to all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, contributing to process improvements
- Shift work may be required
What you bring with you
- Experience with CNC machines or metal fabrication
- Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills is essential
- Technical education, vocational degree, or apprenticeship preferred
- Positive attitude with a commitment to following defined processes
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel)
- Effective teamwork and communication skills in English; German language skills are an advantage
