#### Electronics Engineering Manager
As the Electronics Engineering Manager, you will be at the forefront of building and leading a team of talented electronics engineers. You will have a pivotal role in shaping the future of our satellite technology, pushing the boundaries of what is possible, and delivering performance that sets new industry standards.
#### Role
* Directly manage, mentor, and expand a team of both junior and senior electronics engineers
* Collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team to define and architect our next-generation electronic systems
* Oversee the entire lifecycle of our electronic hardware, from design and development to implementation and verification
* Develop and manage a detailed project schedule to ensure that our hardware development aligns with the overall program timeline
* Drive the design process, including specification, component selection, circuit board design, and system-level integration
* Lead the team through hands-on debugging, board bring-up, and system validation
* Play a key role in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new team members to support our rapid growth
* Provide expert support to our production and operations teams for the successful deployment and use of our hardware
* Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team
#### Requirements
* A Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field
* 5+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced product design and development environment
* 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing complex electronic hardware from concept to production
* A passion for hardware development and a desire to work in a dynamic, hands-on environment
* Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
* Proven experience in building and managing teams of engineers, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder

* Experience with photovoltaics
* Experience with Li-ion batteries and battery management systems
* Experience with magnetics in power electronics
* Knowledge of radiation effects on electronic components

Base pay is just one component of Astranis’s total rewards package. Astranis pay ranges are informed and defined through professional-grade salary surveys and compensation data sources. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, and the level and scope of the position.

$160,000—$215,000 USD
