Job Title: Lead, Systems Engineering - Space Vehicle Bus Integration & Test

Job Code: 42141

Job Location: Palm Bay, Florida

Job Schedule: 9/80 Regular

Job Description:

This technical-lead role provides Space Vehicle bus integration and test leadership for Moog buses. The lead is the primary technical coordinator for bus and TT&C suppliers, directs Bus environmental verification test readiness and execution, and integrates bus-level requirements, interfaces, verification, and anomaly resolution across the development, integration, and production lifecycle.

Essential Functions:

* Lead SV-bus I&T planning and execution across electrical power, attitude control, TT&C, C&DH, and other bus-to-payload/system interfaces.

* Serve as the technical point of contact for bus and TT&C suppliers; establish technical baselines, flow down requirements, resolve interface issues, and contribute to supplier and program technical reviews.

* Coordinate Bus environmental verification test readiness, integration, test procedures, readiness reviews, test-data disposition, and closure of verification evidence.

* Maintain requirements, interface, and verification traceability; assess impacts of changes across bus, payload, ground, and mission interfaces.

* Lead investigation and resolution of anomalies, nonconformances, and technical risks, including root-cause/corrective-action closure and lessons learned.

* Partner with systems engineering, hardware, software, quality, manufacturing, and operations teams to transition bus capabilities through first-unit build, development test, integration, and production.

* Communicate technical status, decisions, risks, and recovery plans to program leadership and customers; mentor engineers in disciplined I&T execution.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience; Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

* Demonstrated experience in space-vehicle bus systems engineering, integration, and test, including technical ownership of subsystem and system interfaces.

* Working knowledge of SV bus subsystems such as electrical power, attitude control, TT&C, C&DH, structures, thermal, and avionics, with the ability to resolve cross-domain interface issues.

* Experience with requirements development and flowdown, interface management, verification planning and execution, test readiness, and test-data review in a hardware development program.

* Experience leading or coordinating suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams through technical decisions, anomaly resolution, and corrective actions.

* Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.

* Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access, as required

Preferred Additional Skills:

* Experience with DOORS, RVTM, or comparable requirements and verification-traceability tools.

* Experience with model-based systems engineering, SysML, or architecture models used to manage SV interfaces.

* Experience coordinating environmental, development, qualification, acceptance, or production test for space-vehicle hardware.

* Experience preparing for and conducting system, supplier, test-readiness, and flight-readiness reviews.

* Experience with supplier technical management, failure review, root-cause/corrective-action methods, and risk-recovery planning.
